The 4 Pillars of any career opportunity. Whether you are looking to attract talent, or interviewing for a new role they should be deeply examined.

Poorly presented opportunities have become part of the white noise that has numbed the market.

Tell the story and here is how:

Market – Independent of the company’s product or service, how is the market going to be substantially relevant over the next 5 years? The category and technology must have a clear path to adoption and ongoing value.

Product or Service? – Once you have answered if the market has at least 5 years of growth ahead of it, how is the company’s product or service positioned to be competitive in the market that was deemed a high growth category?

Team – Who you hang around with is who you become. Your network is an important part of your career currency. Do not compromise on this.

Mission – I know the product you make or the service you provide, but why do you show up in the parking lot every day? Mercenary or Missionary. Both are fine, just know what you are signing up for.
