Interventional Systems and Siemens Healthineers today announced a co-marketing agreement to promote robotic-assisted procedures.
The collaboration leverages Interventional Systems’ expertise in miniature medical robotics with Siemens Healthineers’ angiography suites. It comes on the heals of a separate surgical robotics collaboration inked by Siemens Healthineers and Stryker last week.
Interventional Systems says the partnership leverages both companies’ strengths to address the demand for enhanced precision and efficiency in image-guided therapies. The company’s Micromate platform uses cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), fluoro CT or a fluoroscope for percutaneous needle intervention.
