Truvian links with Siemens Healthineers to advance benchtop blood testing

Siemens Healthineers has signed up to assist Truvian Health in the development of its benchtop blood testing platform, including its manufacturing and marketing.

Truvian’s automated TruVerus system for chemistry, immunoassay and hematology testing is designed to turn around multiple results in about 30 minutes from a single tube sample, while the patient is still on-site.

This past January, TruVerus picked up FDA clearances for offering complete blood counts as well as nine separate metabolic, cardiovascular and liver health analyses. The agency greenlit the instrument itself the month before, along with a kidney panel.
